If you’re the smartest person in the room, then you’re in the wrong room

A leader I worked with before loved to be the biggest and smartest person in every room they entered.

Perhaps the only thing worse than being the smartest person in the room is believing you’re the smartest person in the room.

I am 100% sure that individuals who believe they are more intelligent than others tend to struggle with delegation because they believe no one will do the job as well as they can. The need to feel biologically superior and this will always prevent you from learning new things and can lead to stagnancy.

Why would I enable myself from learning new things by thinking I KNOW everything?

When you intentionally surround yourself with smarter people, you’re allowing others to fill in the gaps and learn and gain different perspectives. Always stay humble and open-minded! 😊🌟

I will forever be a learner of the world. Because why would I want to know everything and block the opportunity to continue to grow?

Let go of the need to be the smartest person in the room!
